Salary: £60-£100 per hour

Are you a talented and accomplished Tax Partner in Cambridge keen to work on a 3-month contract/interim basis in exchange for an exceptionally high hourly rate and high level of flexibility?

We’re seeking a highly experienced professional in mixed tax compliance and advice able to perform at Partner level with a proven track record of success in short term roles in public practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • High level oversight of tax services ensuring that the needs of a diverse client portfolio are met.
  • Review of workflow, deadlines, resourcing and service delivery.
  • Provision of advisory services.
  • Support a junior team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address client needs, building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging issues to enhance audit methodologies and processes.
  • Effectively communicate progress against agreed projects to clients and senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Professional qualification (CTA ideally or ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with extensive experience in the provision of mixed tax services.
  • Proven experience managing a large and diverse client portfolio.
  • Strong technical skills, including a deep understanding of auditing standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
