An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Interim Systems Accountant to join a dynamic Finance team on a 6 month contract. This role is perfect for an individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and has extensive knowledge of MS Dynamics Business Central. The successful candidate will act as the key link between the IT and finance teams, processing reports into Business Central and leading on improvements to financial systems. This is a hands-on role based in Leicester City Centre, requiring commitment on site for four days a week.

As a Systems Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between IT and finance. Your primary responsibility will be to lead on improvements and changes to the financial systems, ensuring seamless integration with other systems. You will also be tasked with developing robotic automation processes, thereby enhancing efficiency across all areas of finance. Furthermore, you will liaise with operational teams to improve reporting times and assist in digitising the processes. Your ability to provide support to the business and ensure accurate data transfer will be crucial in this role.

* Act as the key link between IT and Finance to resolve all significant financial systems issues
* Work collaboratively with the Finance team to undertake process reviews with a view to improving efficiency through enhanced use of appropriate software solution Business Central
* Develop robotic automation processes to improve efficiency by reducing manual processes across all areas of finance using Business Central
* Ensure projects run to time and budget while escalating any issues appropriately
* Liaise with operational teams that could improve reporting times and help digitise more processes using Business Central
* Provide support to the business and transfer correct data across to the system

The ideal Systems Accountant will bring a wealth of experience in developing financial reports and delivering system enhancements. You will have proven ability in working collaboratively with external parties while providing advice on a diverse range of financial systems. Your capability to produce clear documentation for user training purposes will be essential, as well as your ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A deep understanding of MS Dynamics Business Central is a must, along with the ability to work closely with the Finance team, helping them understand the system's functionality and providing support where needed.

* Experience in developing financial reports and working on projects to deliver system enhancements and changes.
* Ability to work collaboratively with external parties for support and guidance while providing advice and systems guidance on a diverse range of financial systems to internal teams.
* Capability to produce clear documentation for user training purposes and manage multiple projects simultaneously, delivering them on time.
* Extensive knowledge of MS Dynamics Business Central.
* Ability to work closely with the Finance team, helping them understand the functionality of the system and providing support where needed.
