Day Rate Umbrella £650-750

The role:

We are looking for an individual from all backgrounds and experiences who would lead collating, managing and implementing of the property strategy as our client undertakes the planned programme. This will involve defining project scope, goals and deliverables in line with agreed objectives and brief. Working in liaison with stakeholders to develop requirements which are realistic and achievable which can be transferred into project specifications for delivery. Preparing and managing detailed project plans which can support project delivery and communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of the Programme property requirements and leading implementation.

  • Accountable for ensuring all property requirements and interdependencies are planned, co-ordinated and delivered to required timescales including: i) Telecoms & Networks; ii) IT; iii) Fit out; iv) Testing and failover; iv) Contingency Planning; v) Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS); vi) Fire Safety requirements; vii) Legislative requirements; viii) Evacuation requirements; ix) Utilities; x) Contracts; xi) Building restrictions; xii) Consents; xiv) Accessibility; xv) Dual running periods (as needed); etc.

  • Responsible for analysing, forecasting and budgeting the financial costs of delivering the Property plan including the subsequent Opex and Capex costs such as repair and maintenance expenses, service charges, business rates, insurance, and utilities' costs.

  • Responsibility for ensuring, in co-ordination with Communications & Branding, that internal and external stakeholders are briefed, and all required materials are updated relating to property.

  • Working collaboratively with internal teams such as DD&T (IT Function), Finance, HR, Legal, Procurement and Communications/Branding. Collaboration and co-ordination will also be required with my clients UK Land & Property and Facilities teams.

  • Responsible for managing the relationships with a number of major stakeholders, developing positive relationships, ensuring that service levels and objectives are agreed and that performance is managed effectively.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of all aspects of property project management and dependency management

  • Property management experience including the selection, fit out and opening of new offices/facilities

  • Property Contract knowledge

  • Experience of continual improvement through the ability to bring creative and innovative ideas to the forefront and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency and/or costs/change management.

  • Experience of managing a third-party providers/suppliers

  • Experience of working as part of an integrated team to deliver significant changes / transformation

  • Experience in driving performance through the effective management and development of a team.

  • Good stakeholder management, influencing and facilitation skills

  • Demonstrable track record of developing successful, long lasting, relationships across the business including ability to engage, challenge and influence senior managers, deal effectively with resistance to proposals and secure their buy-in and support.
