Role: Procurement Specialist

Rate: £300 - £400

Location: Lancashire

Castlefield Recruitment are currently recruiting an Interim Procurement Specialist to join a Public Sector organisation in Lancashire on a 3-month contract. The role will have opportunities for extension and the potential to go permanent.

The Role:

  • Lead on procurement projects to achieve cashable savings and added value opportunities
  • Responsible for end to end procurement projects both above and below threshold
  • Act as key escalation point for all procurement and contract management related queries
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Negotiate with suppliers
  • Utilise eProcurement systems
  • Advise on procurement process and look to improve procedures where possible

The Person:

  • Previous experience within the Public Sector
  • PCR2015 knowledge
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Available at short notice
