Kenneth Brian Associates are looking to hire an experienced Payroll Specialist on an interim basis for a period of 3-6 months whilst our client look to recruit a permanent candidate to the role.

Please note, this role will be office based and is not accessible via public transport.

The role reports directly to the Finance Director and HR Manager and duties include;

Maintain and process the payroll to ensure timely and accurate processing of all payroll entries including new starters, leavers, salary adjustments, tax and other deductions

Checking timesheets for each member of staff and liaising with managers to resolve any queries and errors arising

Inputting of additional hours to payroll

Working closely with the HR function to confirm starters and leavers and absences

Processing hours worked, overtime, allowances, sickness and other absences

Processing of employee pay rates and changes into Caresys and Sage 50 payroll systems

Reviewing and checking the payroll data with HR team prior to payroll submission

Facilitate the pension auto enrolment process and prepare the monthly pension data for upload to the pension provider portal

Preparation of monthly reports and other payroll reporting as required by Finance Director to sign-off payroll

Complete RTI process on Sage 50 payroll

Preparing monthly payments to HMRC, Pension schemes and other third parties

Distribution of P45s to leavers
