The Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer to join their team on an interim basis. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization during a period of growth and transformation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Processing payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
- Maintaining meticulous payroll records and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Collaborating closely with HR and Finance teams to verify employee data and address payroll-related inquiries.
- Generating comprehensive payroll reports and supporting financial analysis activities as required.
- Remaining up-to-date on payroll legislation and best practices to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.

Desired Skillset:
- Proven experience in a similar Payroll Officer role, preferably within the manufacturing or industrial sector.
- Proficiency in payroll software and the Microsoft Office suite, with advanced Excel capabilities.
- Strong understanding of payroll principles, regulations, and compliance standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and discretion when handling sensitive information.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities with ease.
