Are you a talented and accomplished Partner in Leeds keen to work on a 3-month contract/interim basis in exchange for an exceptionally high hourly rate and high level of flexibility?

We’re seeking a highly experienced professional in general accounting and tax able to perform at Partner level with a proven track record of providing strategic oversight to accountancy teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct a team of accountants and tax specialists, providing strategic oversight of service delivery.
  • Work closely with the Partners to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met.
  • Monitor workflow for assignments and report on all commercial aspects of portfolio management.
  • Provide strategic guidance to the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging issues to enhance audit methodologies and processes.
  • Effectively communicate progress against agreed projects to clients and senior management.

Qualifications:

  • Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with extensive experience in the provision of all general accounting and tax services.
  • Proven experience directing a team and portfolio in practice.
  • Strong technical skills, including a deep understanding of auditing standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proactive and adaptable, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams.
