A great opportunity to join a leading City based financial services organisation. The role will focus on the control of the general ledger and its relationship with the payables and expenses and receivables function. Duties will include:

  • Review of the Accounts Payables team deliverables to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
  • Providing support to the administration of the general ledger (e.g. new account code requests)
  • Assist with systems implementation work in respect of the general ledger and relevant AP and expense systems.
  • Prepare various quarterly or annual reporting including commentary & KPI's
  • Delivery of the monthly close
  • Responsible for the accurate cash and intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
  • Posting of monthly journals
  • Review of expenses and the wider expenses control framework
  • Complete financial controls and responsibility for the maintenance of process documentation for Finance Operations
