Interim Liquidity Management Analyst – London – £25 - £35 Per hour Umbrella – Offering Hybrid Working -  3 days per week, on site – 6 Month - Temporary Contract

Reed Talent Professionals are partnering with a global investment bank based in Central London, in the search for an Interim Liquidity Management Analyst. They are based in the financial district in Liverpool Street and offer hybrid working. 

The Liquidity Management Analyst will provide support to the existing Liquidity Management UK team and be responsible for funding of all UK and Overseas accounts that are owned by the UK team. The individual will have to be self-motivated and can work both within a team, but also on their own initiative to achieve results. The individual will have to work in a controlled environment, with results in improved value adjusted balances, reduction of any identified opportunity costs and reducing risks as a measurement of success.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Monitor and fund nostro accounts for both the UK and overseas entities.
  • Support the team to ensure processes are controlled, risks are mitigated, and automation is maximised.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of the organisation and cash process flows to capture all relevant data for effective job performance.
  • Aim to create a standardised centre of excellence for global liquidity management locations.
  • Actively manage cash across all currencies and locations in nostro bank accounts and custody agents.
  • Forecast daily cash requirements for bank and custody accounts, providing Treasury with timely and accurate positions to fund.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Essential:
    • Previous experience in Liquidity Management functions and solutions.
    • Good knowledge of cash products, markets, and funding techniques.
    • Experience working in a high-pressure environment.
    • Ability to present to senior audiences and management.
  • Desirable:
    • Knowledge of liquidity management software solutions.
    • Experience in automating cash management environments.

Special Conditions:

  • Flexibility with working hours to meet funding deadlines, which may extend beyond standard office hours. A shift system may be implemented to cover the start and end of the business day.
