Interim Lease Accountant - IFRS16

Communicate are working with a well known, PE backed, retailer with both a nationwide and international presence, as they look to recruit an interim property accountant with strong IFRS16 knowledge for a short term FTC.

This is for 9 months to start ASAP (up to 2 weeks' notice will be considered) and will be working remotely with the expectation to be in the London office up to 2 days a week.

Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, this role is an excellent opportunity for a specialist property accountant, with an audit background and significant IFRS16 experience, to add value and support an established team.

Candidates will be:

• ACA/CA Qualified, preferable from Audit due to the technical aspects to the role
• Experienced in IFRS16, leasing accounts and steeped leases
• Has relevant experience in multi site businesses and have had experience in implementing IFRS16
• Well-versed in leasing programmes and able to feedback on continuous process improvements
• Available in April and available for 9 months+
