The Opportunity
I am excited to be partnering with an established and reputable financial services organisation in the North East covering maternity leave. This role will play a crucial part in their HR team and support to the wider business.

Responsibilities will include -
  • Partnering with business leaders providing support and advise on all aspects of HR including talent management, employee engagement, org design, restructuring and change.
  • Provide guidance on leadership and employee development, performance management, rewards and recognition.
  • Align strategies and driving the implementation of HR initiatives within business areas, working closely with leaders and management teams.
  • Proactively searching out new HR approaches, methods, tools and technologies to enhance performance and support business strategies.
  • Partner with business leaders in the planning, development and enablement of an agile, adaptable and highly competent workforce.
  • Drive initiatives to identify talent, especially high potential talent.
  • Supporting the DEI strategy through strategic, consultative advise.
  • Create cultural momentum and leadership accountability.
  • Analysing management information to provide insights.

The Person
  • An in-depth knowledge of current UK Employment Law and legislation is essential.
  • Proven experience in managing a wide range of Employee Relations issues.
  • Ability to assess potential problems and make sound judgements around issues that may have an adverse effect on the business from an Employee Relations perspective.
  • Experience of being the primary HR contact for client base
  • Ability to demonstrate presence & credibility within the organisation.
