Harmonic Finance are delighted to be working exclusively with an international TV and Film production business to support their support their search for an Interim Head of Payroll for a period of 9 months, with potential for permanent employment thereafter.

The Client

Home to a plethora of family-favourite films and Tv shows, our client has offices in London and New York with coverage across UK, US, EMEA & APAC regions. With several large projects in the pipeline, our client is growing exponentially year-on-year with over £65mil regional revenue in 2023. Recognised for their vibrant, entrepreneurial culture, our client operates a hybrid working week, whereby you are expected to be in the office for 3 days per week, with team socials every month.

The Role

This is an initial contract position with exciting project-based work, but in the future, there will be the potential to go permanent. You shall be responsible for implementing a new Global Payroll Platform and reviewing standard payroll processes to drive efficiencies. You will be the senior contact for external stakeholders to answer queries around data migration and payroll forecasts. You shall also oversee the processing of international payrolls and month & year end reporting within the payroll team, where you shall have 3 direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Implementing Global Payroll
• Data migration
• Oversee compliance with international tax obligations
• Streamlining end-to-end payrolls
• Managing 3 direct reports
• Assisting the Financial Controller on Ad-hoc projects

What we need to see (essential):

• Payroll implementation/migration
• Managing international payrolls
• 4+ years line manager experience
• Excellent Communication skills

What we need to see (bonus):

• Experience with ADP Streamline

Salary: £450-£600 Day Rate

Location: London (Hybrid)

Start Date: ASAP
