Interim Head of FP&A - Retail

£600p-£650p/d Inside IR35

Central London Based (Hybrid)

Talentedge are currently partnering with a leading Retail Business to find a dynamic individual to head their FP&A function in Central London. As the Head of FP&A, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial planning and analysis function within the Retail Business. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will lead a team of qualified finance professionals and work closely with senior stakeholders to provide strategic insights and support business decision-making.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Develop and implement robust financial models and tools to facilitate accurate and insightful reporting.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to the CFO that support business growth and profitability.
  • Partner with senior management to drive financial performance and optimize operational efficiency.
  • Oversee the development of financial forecasts, including revenue projections, expense budgets, and capital expenditure plans.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with significant years PQE
  • Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the retail/consumer industry.
  • Extensive experience in financial modelling
  • Leadership experience with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
