Axon Moore recruiting an Interim Group Reporting Accountant for a leading manufacturing / retailer with operations in Warrington, Cheshire. The business has grown substantially via acquisitions and organic growth and is one of the UK’s leaders in their field.

As Interim Group Reporting Accountant you will be the external face of the finance team and will be responsible for statutory accounting, tax and audit.  You will help drive the business forward through financial modelling and forecasting using both intrinsic growth and M&A activity.

Duties:
  • Provision of accurate and timely financial information.
  • Ownership of year-end external audit process and production of statutory accounts.
  • Oversight of all financial controls.
  • Treasury responsibility including foreign exchange and quarterly forecast
  • VAT, payroll taxes, pension and compliance with statutory reporting and taxes.
  • Budgeting, forecasting 
  • Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships
  • Participating in the growth agenda including M&A processes, integration and financing

Person Specification:
  • Fully qualified ACA/ACCA with a minimum of three years post qualified experience
  • Ideally practice trained
  • Experience with Statutory Accounts / Tax
  • Independent worker, self-driven, entrepreneurial approach
  • Advanced communication skills, both verbal and meaningful presentation of data
  • Positive attitude, deals with challenge and change
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
