Interim Group Financial Accounting Consultant

Stanton House is currently recruiting an interim Group Financial Accounting Consultant on a 3-4 month basis initially to support a growing and exciting VC backed business in the media space through a year-end accounting project.

As Group Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Facilitating effective management of the external audit partnership by collaborating closely with external auditors and internal finance stakeholders. Ensuring meticulous planning and execution of all external assurance activities.
• Performing two or three focused assessments of revenue and cost cut-off procedures to validate the precision of year end reporting across the various business units.
• Other adhoc accounting tasks.

To be successful in this role you must be ACA or ACCA qualified with experience working for an Audit Firm previously. In addition to this you must have:

• Prior experience working in an Audit firm is mandatory to be considered for this position***Essential.
• Media, marketing or advertising sector experience***Essential.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards
• Complex consolidations experience***Essential.
• Strong communication skills
• Proven financial modelling experience, within Excel.
