£200 - £250 per day Inside IR35

Rotherham, South Yorkshire (Hybrid working - expectation to attend site visits and office meetings on an ad hoc basis)

We are currently on the lookout for an Interim Fire Risk Assessor to join our team based in Rotherham responsible for over 20,000 residential properties.

Responsibilities:

• The role will provide fire safety expertise, support and advice to ensure all housing stock is inspected, managed and maintained in accordance with the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, Building Safety Act 2022, Fire Safety Regulations 2022 and any other appropriate Health and Safety Legislation
• Conducting fire risk assessments for a variety of properties in Rotherham, including residential.
• Identifying potential fire hazards and evaluating the effectiveness of existing fire safety measures.
• Providing detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations for risk reduction and compliance with fire safety regulations.
• Liaising with clients to discuss assessment results and proposed risk mitigation strategies.
• Keeping abreast of relevant legislation and industry best practices to ensure assessments are conducted in accordance with current standards.

The Candidate:

• A relevant professional qualification/membership of a professional body is essential.
• Experience within residential properties is essential.
• Proven experience in conducting fire risk assessments, preferably in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of fire safety regulations and legislation.
• Strong analytic skills with the ability to identify potential hazards and assess risks effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders.
