Interim Financial Controller

CMA Recruitment Group is supporting an established and progressive distribution business in their recruitment of an Interim Financial Controller.  This position will report to the Managing Director and support while the business recruits on a permanent basis.  The expected duration of this assignment is 4-5 months.

What will the Interim Financial Controller role involve?

• Oversee and support the finance team during this time of transition.
• Produce monthly reporting information to be discussed with board members.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in line with regulatory requirements.
• Review budget and forecast information, keeping the MD informed of cash position and liaising with non-finance managers regarding business performance.

Suitable Candidate for the Interim Financial Controller vacancy:

• Candidates will ideally be qualified and have worked within a SME business covering a well-rounded finance role.
• Prior team management experience is highly desirable as this role will mentor and support the finance team.
• Strong communication skills to partner with a range of non-finance stakeholders across the business.
• Available to start within the next 3 weeks.
