Title: Interim Financial Accountant

Type: Fixed term contract - 3 months

Location: London, hybrid options offered

Salary:£65,000-£70,000 + bonus and benefits

The company:

Our client, a multinational energy group head-quartered in London, is seeking a technically adept, audit trained Financial Accountant to join their finance team in London for a 3-month FTC.

Responsibilities:

  • Involvement in group consolidation process and the production of quarterly and annual statutory accounts under IFRS
  • Preparation of parts of the quarterly management report and providing commentaries to management.
  • Assisting with group budgeting and forecasting
  • Preparation of additional supporting schedules for reviews and providing explanations and analysis as required to support key stakeholders.
  • Maintenance and quarterly uploading of the Company’s lease, depreciation, deferred charges, interest accruals and other accounting schedules as required.
  • Researching technical accounting issues and preparation of file notes and accounting memos for non-routine commercial transactions. (depending on experience)

Role Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate will be a qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA with at least 3 years experience in an accounting function
  • External audit experience is highly desirable for this role
  • Ability to work on own initiative or as a part of a team
  • Ability to meet deadlines
