I am recruiting an Interim Financial Accountant for a venture capital (VC) backed technology client based in Reading. Our client is currently going through a large financial transformation, this entails the merger of five separate businesses and the subsequent harmonisation of all systems (and processes) onto NetSuite.

Supporting the Financial Controller, your key responsibilities will be varied, but could include:

  • Act as a key point of contact between Group entities regarding their integration into the wider business.
  • Act as a key point of contact for the Group entities regarding financial reporting inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support the monthly, quarterly and annual financial statement preparation across the Group
  • Review and enhance financial reporting processes, seeking opportunities to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Implement best practices and automation tools to optimise financial data analysis and reporting.

Requirements:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Experience in financial reporting and exposure to IFRS.
  • Knowledge of controls. Experience on controls and remediation/audit is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop and sustain good working relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Experience of NetSuite would be advantageous.
  • Available immediately.

Hybrid working - 1 to 2 days per week in Reading office
