The talent acquisition team at NET Recruit are delighted to be supporting a highly successful business operating in the Maidenhead area, to aid them in their search for an Interim Financial Accountant on a 12-month fixed term contract. This business is in a state of growth and development, they are eagerly expanding many of their core teams as they continue to broaden their market offerings and grow their customer base. They have an exciting few years planned of sustained growth and stability, thus offering the perfect time to join the business.

Role and Responsibilities
While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Taking ownership of recording operating expense related entries and payments into the general ledger to ensure it is updated and accurate
  • Ensuring that the operating expense sections of the monthly US & Lux GAAP management accounts are prepared on time
  • Performing analytical review on the US & Lux GAAP management accounts
  • Handling accruals and prepayments in a timely manner alongside reconciliations, subsequently preparing and circulating the monthly reconciliation tracker
  • Proactively supporting the additional year-end close and reporting requirements, handling any ad-hoc tasks that need actioning
  • Assisting in the preparation of schedules for audit, ensuring that financial statements relating to subsidiaries are drafted
  • Supporting the wide function with any ad-hoc tasks as required by senior management
What Will You Need To Apply:
For this exciting position, the business is seeking applicants who have at least got a degree within finance and accounting, and/or applicants who are working towards a comparable professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA). Likewise, applicants should have good experience within a related role, where they have built up good strong accounting knowledge including of accounting principles. You should have a good aptitude for financial systems and other such software to support the role, this could include Microsoft Office and any knowledge of PeopleSoft/Oracle based ledger systems would be beneficial. Excellent communication skills are required for this role, alongside the ability to work within a fast paced and dynamic environment.

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months and there is no guarantee of a permanent role, thus applicants should be understanding of this and be preferably immediately available.
