Talentedge are exclusively working with a scaling FinTech payments business who after experiencing a successful round of investment, are now poised for exponential growth and are seeking an Interim Financial Accountant to support the finance team over the coming months. In this role, you will be reporting directly to the FD and you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of all financial data, and provide key insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP and regulatory reporting
- Reconcile accounts, investigate discrepancies, and resolve any financial issues.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Support the audit process and liaise with auditors as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
- ACA qualification (2-3 years PQE), ideally from an audit background.
- Previous experience working within FinTech or an FCA regulated business
- The ability to meet deadline and make their own workload
