Interim Finance Process Automation Specialist

Our client is looking for an Interim Finance Process Automation Specialist to play a vital role in automating and optimising financial processes to improve accuracy, efficiency and scalability. This person will be responsible for working with cross-functionally teams to develop automation tools and technologies to streamline financial workflows.

Location: Birmingham
Contract length: 6 months
Contract hours: Monday - Friday, 37 hours a week
Salary: £650 - £750 per day (outside IR35)

Key Responsibilities of the Interim Finance Process Automation Specialist

• Evaluate and select appropriate automation tools and technologies for financial process optimisation
• Develop RPA or automation tool for seamless integration with existing financial systems, ERP software, and other relevant platforms
• Create comprehensive documentation for automated processes, including specifications, user guides, and training materials
• Provide training to end-users on newly developed automated processes and tools
• Offer ongoing support to address any issues or concerns related to the automated financial processes
• Maintain up-to-date documentation to facilitate knowledge transfer and support
• Monitor the performance of automated processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to suggest and implement enhancements

Key Essentials of the Interim Finance Process Automation Specialist

• Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Computer literate with strong excel skills
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Proficient in relevant programming languages, automation tools, and database management
