Interim Finance Director

Duration: £3 - 6 months

Rate: £90k - 100k or day rate equivalent

Consumer Additions are partnering with a luxury Retail brand to find an Interim Finance Director, based in their offices in Central London.

The interim Finance Director will come on board to help their small finance team navigate immediate challenges in a pivotal period of their growth - key focus will be around providing stability and building strong processes for their P&L modelling, cash flow and financial accounting.

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall finance strategy and execution, ensuring the business has sufficient resources to achieve sales and profitability growth objectives
• Support the leadership team with the setting and monitoring of all aspects of the annual budget (cash flow, P&L, Balance sheet)
• Business Partner the Leadership Team and assist with decision making.
• Actively set and manage balance sheet and cash flow in the business, suggesting actions and financing solutions to the leadership team
• At month end, ensure accounts are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Hire, train and develop a high performing team to deliver the above

Personal Requirements:

• Professionally qualified in ACA, ACCA, CIMA or International equivalent
• Previous experience in a Consumer/ Retail based business with strong exposure to inventory, supply chain etc
• Have experience managing a team, and working with senior leadership.
• Be comfortable working in a start-up environment: working lean and quickly, using data, being hands on and willing to get your hands dirty and working well both autonomously and collaboratively.
• Attention to detail, highly numerate and a problem solver
