We Do Group are delighted to be supporting a Facilities Services business in London, recruiting an Interim Finance Business Partner role on a 6 month term.

The role is to look after the accounting and business partnering on long term PFI contracts, supporting the Head of PFI in monthly forecast review/close meetings to question the MoM variance and support on when revenue can be recognised on each project.

Hybrid: Remote working with occasional travel to London
Rate: c.£400 per day (inside IR35)

The Role

  • Delivery of a Business Partnering approach to successfully achieve company, team and individual goals and objectives
  • Pro-active provision of all financial information to operational teams ensuring that the information is clear to understand and concise
  • Preparation and maintenance of clear and accurate management information for the business
  • Producing monthly management accounts, managing reconciliation of budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
  • Create and maintain effective individual and team working relationships across finance, commercial and operational teams, other internal teams, the client and their representatives
  • Providing financial, commercial and strategic support to the Finance Manager, Senior Management Team, Commercial team and Client
  • Provide a Business Partner service to internal customers effectively enabling them to understand their financial position and performance against their allocated budget
  • Managing the business planning process with support from the Commercial team to ensure that forecast entry is smooth and completed in a timely manner each period
  • Processing and interrogation of month end journals, prepayments, deferred income and work in progress schedules
  • Deliver first class finance information and support operational teams to maximise company performance and turnover
  • Produce financial performance reports against contractual and strategic performance indicators
  • Providing meaningful commentary and analysis of financial data highlighting any variances
  • Development of additional reporting for Senior Management as required, along with participation in identified projects

Your Profile

  • Qualified Accountant - ACA, ACCA, CA, CIMA or QBE
  • Strong blend of management accounting & commercial/finance business partnering skillsets
  • Effective communicator - written & verbal
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel
