Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Interim Domiciliary Manager to oversee their domiciliary care services in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care provision, ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to their service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of care staff to deliver person-centered care and support services.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure their needs are met effectively.
  • Monitor the quality of care provided, conducting regular assessments and reviews to identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies and procedures.
  • Manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources are used efficiently to deliver high-quality care services.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff, providing guidance and support as needed to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting innovation and best practice in domiciliary care provision.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar managerial role within the domiciliary care sector.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation, regulations, and best practice guidelines.
  • Ability to manage budgets effectively and ensure resources are used efficiently.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centered care services.
  • NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable.
