They have an exciting opportunity: for Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to join initially on a 6 month contract. However, there is potential for permanency.

Are you an innovative marketing leader seeking a dynamic challenge in the B2B publishing and events space? Join this high-growth B2B Subscriptions and Events business as our new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). This full-time hybrid role offers an exceptional opportunity to drive strategic marketing initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with Founder, CEO, Executive Management Team, and Board to develop and execute high-growth marketing strategies.
- Lead and manage a marketing team of 5, overseeing Subscription and Events divisions.
- Identify and recruit top talent to expand the team.
- Set clear goals, evaluate team performance, and foster a culture of excellence.
- Design and implement marketing strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Drive marketing efforts to support sales targets for events and digital products.
- Develop lead generation strategies for subscription new business.
- Lead the launch of our new company and product brand strategy.
- Report key metrics to CEO and Board.
- Develop events as a funnel for subscription lead generation.
- Create top-quality go-to-market materials for all products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including editorial, event, sales, research, and product development.
- Develop a global market strategy and optimize database segmentation.
- Ensure effective management of CRM and marketing automation systems.

Requirements:

- 5+ years' experience as a CMO or Senior Marketing Director in B2B subs and events.
- 15+ years' experience in B2B subscriptions and events.
- Proven track record of building and managing multi-skilled marketing teams.
- Demonstrated success in delivering marketing-led results in B2B information businesses.
- Ambition to contribute to a company with scale-up global growth plans.
- Strategic thinker with strong leadership skills.
- Results-driven approach to subscription lead generation and event marketing.
- Excellent planning, prioritization, and time management abilities.
- Proficient in refining and reporting Marketing KPIs.
- Experience with successful marketing campaigns and digital technologies.
- In-depth knowledge of CRM and Marketing Automation software (preferably Hubspot and Salesforce).
- Enthusiasm for building and nurturing relationships across diverse backgrounds.
