Interim Charity Finance Manager

Interim Charity Finance Manager | £400-500pd Inside IR35 | Women Charity |4 days a week | 4-6 month contract | Largely remote with occasional travel to London

This Finance Manager position is an exciting opportunity to join a growing charity supporting women and girls who have been victims of abuse during a period of change. They are going through a restructure and need a competent and experienced charity accountant to support them throughout their year-end process and provide structured management reporting and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and updating Management Accounts, investigating variances, and identifying areas for improvement
• Working closely with internal stakeholders to provide support and up to date information
• Working towards their year-end and supporting in ad hoc tasks relating to this
• Providing reports to funders alongside the monthly management accounts
• Prepare and deliver KPIs and budgets in line with the organisation's long-term strategy
• Analysing metrics and other data to ensure accurate and relevant reporting

Person Specification

• A fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA)
• Experience of working in a charity (understanding and knowledge of Charity SORP)
• Understanding of working in a small but complex organisation
• Experience of management accounting
• Excellent communicator with the ability to work with various stakeholders
• Entrepreneurial and ambitious character with a proactive mindset

Due to the nature of this organisation, only female applicants will be considered. The position would be working 4 days a week and predominantly remote, however, there will be the occasional need to go to any of their Central London offices.
