Change Manager
  • Contract: 9-months
  • Location: Central Bedford (Hybrid with ideally 2 days in office)
  • Daily Rate: £450 via umbrella company

An esteemed government organisation in Central Bedford is seeking a Change Manager for a 9-month contract. This hybrid role requires a professional with a strong background in business change methodology, ideally with experience in customer-facing operations and remote access/telephony services. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless implementation of changes to systems, processes, and new products.

Day to Day of the role:
  • Lead the readiness assessment for change, planning, and execution to ensure a smooth transition for money and pensions guidance and debt advice services.
  • Work closely with the Head of Operational Transformation and Business Analysts to deliver high-quality service to customers.
  • Engage with the Change Community of Practice to align with organisational change strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across the business and ensure key staff receive necessary training.
  • Contribute to business cases and support the business owner in realising the benefits of change projects or programmes.
  • Be part of delivering significant change programmes, including the Money Helper Pensions Dashboard.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in applying business change methodology within a formal project and programme environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering change within customer-facing operations and remote access/telephony services.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, risk and issues management, and benefits realisation.
  • Familiarity with all stages of a programme and project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, resource management, governance, assurance, and business case development.
  • Versatility in using various change management frameworks and methodologies as per project requirements.
  • Knowledge of solutions development, budgeting, and cost management.
Desirable Skills:
  • Public sector experience is advantageous.
