Interim CFO

Parkinson Lee are the retained partner to a highly commercial, Not for Profit organisation based in the Northwest, in the recruitment of an Interim CFO.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping the financial and strategic direction of the organisation. You will be responsible for overseeing the finance and treasury functions, commercial operations, business strategy and governance.

You will need to be a strong people leader with experience in managing teams and encouraging them to work closely together to achieve a common goal.

Reporting to the CEO, the Interim CFO will:

• Oversee the Financial and Treasury Management of the organisation. You will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, investments, and financial reporting. Manage treasury functions to ensure the organisation has the liquidity to meet its obligations and support strategic objectives
• Lead commercial initiatives to maximize revenue while maintaining a focus on social responsibility
• Work closely with the CEO and wider leadership team to develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy that supports the organisation’s mission, enhances its financial sustainability, and drives growth
• Ensure the highest standards of corporate governance, including compliance with financial regulations, ethical standards, and internal policies
• Act as a key advisor to the Board on financial matters, risk management, and strategic decisions

We are looking to speak to Interim CFO’s with a track record of completing board level assignments within complex environments. A continuous improvement & commercial mindset is a must, along with first rate communication and interpersonal skills.

This is likely to be an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of an extension.
