Interim Assistant Management Accountant

Global Accounting Network are partnered with a renowned business in the sport sector to find a detail-oriented Assistant Management Accountant for a 6 month Maternity Cover.

This Assistant Management Accountant role will be part of an exciting finance team in the Hospitality/Sport industry. This role will be reporting to the Senior Management Accountant. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in supporting with month end.

Responsibilities:

- Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts

- Maintain invoice spreadsheet and raise invoices in timely manner

- Oversee expenses system and support finance assistant in their expense duties

- Reconciliations of advance accounts, debtors accounts, and balance sheets

-VAT claims

- Ad Hoc duties for wider team incl. query support and authorising invoices

Experience:

- Strong technical knowledge

-Previously assistant in month end duties

- Experience in reporting, debits and credits, and reconciliations

- Strong communication skills
