Interim Accounts Assistant

This role is a temporary Assistant Accountant is an opportunity for a proficient individual to utilise their skills in the industrial / manufacturing sector. The candidate will be tasked with a range of accounting and finance duties at a team member level in Harlow.

Description

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Handle day-to-day transactional accounting and bookkeeping.
• Support the broader finance team in month-end closing procedures.
• Perform account reconciliations and handle queries.
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department.
• Participate in special projects as required by the business.

Profile

A successful Interim Assistant Accountant should have:

• A part qualified Assistant Accountant in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software SAP essential and Microsoft excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
