Pay Rate: £17 Umbrella P/H

Job Type: Full Time Contract

The Role

The Outreach Worker will provide quality community based support to enable people with dementia and their carers to maintain their indpendence, choice and control. The worker will support group sessions at both the Dementia Hub in Leyton and Windmill Court in Chingford including supporting with personal Care, Esctor service uses on minibus sessions to undertake home visits to service users homes.

The Candidate

• Appropriate experience of working with service users with a range of support needs and understanding of the relevant statutory frameworks / requirements plus current best practice in working with people with dementia.
• Practical knowledge of implementing research and evidence-based practice
• Proven ability to manage behaviour that may challenge services.
