Acorn by Synergie is searching for an Integration Engineer and Installation & Commissioning Supervisor to join their client, a leading manufacturer of safety system equipment based in Bristol.

The main objective of this position is to oversee the proper execution of hardware equipment qualification according to the prescribed standards. Additionally, the role involves supervising the installation and commissioning teams across all projects to ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards, while maintaining an exemplary standard of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Responsibilities will include:

* Assist in Hardware Equipment Qualification procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards

* Collaborate with the Qualification Team across multiple locations, including international assignments.

* Support prototype manufacturing, critical documentation creation, equipment testing, bespoke equipment development for High Integrity projects, and

* Review all qualification documentation to ensure comprehension of the tasks.

* Offer on-site assistance to the qualification team across various locations.

* Advocate for quality, health, safety, and environmental objectives, fostering a culture of continuous improvements.

* Lead installation and commissioning teams to ensure adherence to scope, safety standards, budget, and schedule. Oversee team management, site inspections, progress reporting, documentation for site activities, meeting coordination, and installation supervision.

* Provide technical support and evaluate training needs for the Installation & Commissioning teams.

* Ensure completion of safety briefings and monitor PPE requirements for on-site work

Candidates skills and experience:

* Experience within the fire alarm sector and in a supervisory role.

* Extensive knowledge in the installation, commissioning, and management of diverse commissioning services.

* Level 3 FireQual

* SSSTS

* Fire alarm panel manufacturer training

* Fire alarm panel commissioning qualifications

* ECS scheme qualified

The role is hybrid. Attendance at the Bristol office is required regularly.

Salary is dependent on knowledge and experience to offer.
