MBDA is offering a unique opportunity for an Integration and Validation Lead (IVL) to join our exceptional Integration and Validation (Systems Engineering) team in the Electronic Engineering Function!

Job Title: Integration and Validation Lead

Salary: Circa £55,000 depending on experience 

Location: Stevenage, Bristol or Bolton (we may be able to offer a relocation package for this role)

Dynamic (hybrid) working: typically, 3 days per week on-site, due to workload classification

Security Clearance: British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship.

Restrictions and/or limitations relating to nationality and/or rights to work may apply. As a minimum and after offer stage, all successful candidates will need to undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS), which are managed by the MBDA Personnel Security Team.

The opportunity:

As the Integration and Validation Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring flawless assurance and compliance strategies, while also taking on some Project Management responsibilities to contribute to the cost-effective and timely delivery of task packages.

Work with world-class Equipment Teams across Electronic Engineering to successfully implement robust assurance and compliance strategies!

  • Take on Project Management responsibilities to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of task packages.

  • Have a direct impact on the Function's ability to deliver successful programmes.

  • Lead the verification and certification process to ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance.

  • Manage and report on work packages, ensuring efficient progress and effective communication.

  • Collaborate with diverse teams to determine and implement proving process methodologies for environmental, EMC, and electronic functionality.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the integration and validation processes.

What we're looking for from you:

  • Proven experience in the verification and certification process is essential.

  • Expertise in the proving process associated methodologies, including environmental, EMC, and electronic functionality.

  • Previous experience in managing and reporting on work packages.

  • High degree of self-motivation and drive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Strong appreciation of electronics technologies and the product range designed and produced by Electronic Engineering (UK) is advantageous.

  • Record of accomplishment in on-time delivery with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
