NonStop is working with a local authority based in Yorkshire that is looking for determined and motivated social workers to join their authority.

The Integrated Front Door (IFD) team brings together experts from various agencies, including Child Protection social workers, Early Help Access Point Workers, Health professionals, Police officers, and additional partners. They collaborate to provide comprehensive advice, guidance, and collaborative prioritization to referrals involving children, ensuring they are directed towards the most appropriate services.

Your Responsibilities:

  • To respond to enquiries from members of the public and partner agencies promptly and proactively, assessing and recommending the appropriate service/response based on the presenting need of the child/family.

  • Ensure all activity is child focused.

  • Assessing and identifying risk

  • Promote effective partnerships with other agencies to achieve positive outcomes in service users' lives within a multi-disciplinary context

Requirements

  • Hold a professional Social Work qualification and registration (SWE)

  • Have the ability to assess and manage risk, with a focus on service-users' safety and well-being

  • Post-qualified experience ideally within MASH or knowledge of multi- agency work within Children services

  • Clear, Enhanced DBS
