Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Insurance Surveyor to join our team in the Essex The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough surveys of residential and commercial properties to assess risks and determine insurance premiums. The Insurance Surveyor will work closely with insurance companies, property owners, and other stakeholders to provide accurate and detailed survey reports, recommend risk management strategies, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct property surveys to assess risk factors and determine insurance premiums
Collect and analyze data on property conditions, security measures, and other relevant factors
Prepare detailed survey reports with findings and recommendations
Communicate with insurance companies, property owners, and stakeholders to ensure accurate and timely survey results
Recommend risk management strategies to minimize potential losses
Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices for property surveying
Maintain accurate records of survey findings and follow-up actions
Requirements:
Previous experience as an Insurance Surveyor or in a similar role
Knowledge of property insurance policies, risk assessment techniques, and survey methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work independently and manage multiple survey projects simultaneously
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various locations
Salary: £41,000 per annum plus car allowance of £4800
Location: Essex
