Salary:

Up to £26,500.00 per annum, (D.O.E.) with a bonus package of up to £3000.00 per year.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • GCSE Maths & English at Grade C/Level 4 or above
  • Hold/Willing to work towards Chartered Insurance Institute Certificate in Insurance
  • Previous background in a phone based customer service role
  • Knowledge of/experience in the insurance industry (strongly preferred but not essential)

By joining our team at Lloyd & Whyte, you will be responsible for supporting our Taunton based Operations team by providing exceptional administrative support, delivering high levels of service to brokers and customers. Our team work with various lines of both Personal and Commercial insurance, specialising in High Net Worth and Specialist Risk.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Confident and capable of building rapport over the telephone to provide an excellent client experience
  • Has the ability to work in a regulated, compliant and client focused environment
  • Organised, resourceful, deadline driven and supportive of wider team
  • Quality orientated with great attention to detail and strong administrative skills

About the Role / Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve individual objectives and key performance indicators as set and agreed.
  • Provide a proactive and responsive renewal service using best endeavours to retain clients at renewal through promotion of key selling features and effective liaison with insurers
  • Invite renewals
  • Provide professional support and advice to clients throughout the life cycle of the policy ensuring high levels of service and client satisfaction.
  • Ensure all policy administration is dealt with in a professional and timely manner
  • Underwrite scheme policies within underwriting authority level and referral guides
  • Be proactive and maximize all business opportunities making clients aware of alternative products (generating leads), advising clients of potential gaps in cover and promoting insurance reviews with clients wherever possible
  • Check, process and issue new policies
  • Adhere to all Company, regulatory and compliance guideline requirements
  • Maintain own technical competence
  • Support colleagues from all areas of the business as required.
