Remuneration: £40,000 - £45,000

The role of the Technical Training Technician - Fire Protection Products will involve:

  • Training & Installation Technician position dealing with a high quality range of passive fire protection / fire resistant products
  • Responsible for delivery installation training on-site and off-site
  • Installing mock build-ups for product testing and also at exhibitions
  • Surveying passive fire protection installations
  • Offering sound technical advice to clients and installers
  • Working closely with Technical, Sales and Marketing Teams to offer product support
  • National travel and overnight stays will be required

The ideal applicant will be a Training & Installation Technician - Fire Protection Products with:

  • Must have installation experience with passive fire protection and flexible fire wall systems
  • Strong technical understanding of active and passive fire protection systems for example: drylining, boarding, cavity barriers, thermal protection, plasterboards, insulation, partition systems, panel wall systems, fire resistant panels, insulation, blockwork walls, durasteel and acoustics
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Confident individual comfortable with presenting to groups
  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Full UK driving license
