INSTALLATION & SERVICE ENGINEER

We are looking for a motivated installation and service engineer to join a market leading manufacturing company in their respective field. Reporting directly to the service manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. You will be involved in all aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers. The position will appeal to a strong engineer looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.

Role Description

• Elec or Mech Bias
• UK Wide Service (35-40 nights away per annum) - Overseas travel (brings total nights away to 70 per annum)
• Installation, commission and start-up of machines
• Software installation & testing
• Troubleshooting & fault finding
• Machine assembly & panel wiring
• Robotics controls
• Planned and Reactive Maintenance

Skills and Qualifications

• Electrical/electronic background with good mechanical knowledge
• NVQ LV3 or above unless time served in similar industry
• Experience with motors, inverters, PLC's, HMI's, conveyors, pumps, tanks, valves, sensors, encodes, couplings, gearboxes, circuits & pneumatics
• Ability to read electrical drawings
• Reasonable mechanical fitting skills

Desirable

• Hydraulics experience
• CAD design (Solidworks 3D)
• Packaging experience
• Robotics experience
