To inspect cans or components for defects- If/when inspection targets allow training will be give enable individual to run the production equipment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all production targets are met by machine running at optimum performance whilst working to GMP standards
  • Provide cover for colleagues who have to leave their machines whilst still in operation e.g. break times.
  • Ensure batch components match planned work orders
  • Carry out safety checks and maintain a high standard of safety and housekeeping e.g. clean floors, changing rooms, boxes in correct locations, machine cleanliness, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) e.g. safety glasses shoes, etc.
  • Complete all appropriate paperwork including process logbook and product identification labels.
  • Verbally brief colleague when machine is handed over, including schedule, problems with machine, QC checks underway, etc.
  • Work with and support trainees and colleagues in other departments
  • Liaise with Team Leader, Shift Leader and Quality in solving batch and/or valve problems
  • Adhere to site regulations working safely and complying with all company safe working practices and procedures.

This role is on a rotating shift basis 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm. You need to be available to work both shifts.

There is onsite parking available! A basic DBS is required once successful at the interview stage!
