Insolvency Solicitor
A reputable Legal 500 law firm has large plans for its main Surrey office. It has a good strategy for growth and a strong leadership team steering it in this exciting new phase. There is now an opportunity for an experienced Insolvency Partner or Senior Associate to lead a department.
This would suit a partner from a city firm looking for a better work life balance, or a senior associate at a regional firm looking for a step up.
You will be building and managing a team of skilled Insolvency and Restructuring Solicitors to success at a large Legal 200 firm whilst generating and utilising its client base for new work for the business.
Your role as an Insolvency and Restructuring Partner will involve:
- Negotiating and drafting settlements including company voluntary arrangements, administration, and receivership
- Working with insolvency practitioners, companies, and directors continuing to develop strong relationships
- Managing and supervising junior solicitors and paralegals
- Contributing to the wider firm's success
The successful candidate will:
- Be 10+ years; PQE as a UK qualified solicitor
- Have excellent experience with insolvency and restructuring law
- Have management experience
