Position Overview:

As an Insolvency Partner, you will play a pivotal role in leading and growing the insolvency department, overseeing a diverse portfolio of cases, and providing strategic guidance to clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the insolvency department, overseeing a team of lawyers and support staff.
  • Handle a varied caseload of insolvency matters, including administrations, liquidations, receiverships, and bankruptcies.
  • Provide expert legal advice and strategic guidance to clients on complex insolvency issues.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings related to insolvency matters.
  • Stay updated on changes in insolvency law and regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices within the firm.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in insolvency law.
  • Proven track record of handling complex insolvency cases from inception to resolution.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor junior colleagues.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management abilities.
  • Membership in relevant professional bodies and accreditations is desirable.
  • Prior experience working in a reputable law firm or corporate environment is preferred.
