Inside Sales Representative - Life Science

Location: Office-based in Oxford (Hybrid working available)
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 plus commission

Join a dynamic and rapidly expanding life science company that is at the forefront of scientific innovation. As an Internal Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in expanding the company’s market presence in the UK and Europe. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a great opportunity for a life scientist looking to transition away from the bench and into a customer-focused role in industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships, serving as their primary point of contact.
  • Understand client research needs and recommend appropriate life science products.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets within a defined geographical territory
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to meet sales targets and expand market presence.
  • Utilise the company CRM system to track customer interactions and manage leads.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge.

Role Requirements

  • A strong academic background in life sciences field e.g. molecular biology or genomics (BSc, MSc, or PhD required)
  • Some prior experience in a target-driven customer-focused role
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the motivation to achieve and exceed sales goals
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
