Inside Sales Executive

Do you have experience working with chromatography? Are you looking for a new challenge outside of the laboratory within a commercial environment?

Our client are a rapidly growing provider of a range of laboratory equipment and consumables. They work closely with their customers to deliver a first-class service which they pride themselves on and have done so for over 40 years. Due to growth, they are now looking to recruit an Internal Sales Executive to join their ambitious and motivated team.

Responsibilities will include working closely with customers to understand their technical and specific requirements. This will include following up on leads, chasing quotations, market research, e-mail campaigns and ensuring the company CRM is maintained accurately. You will be on hand to answer any technical queries as well as understand the company product portfolio to a high standard which will enable you to talk about products in detail. There will be a high level of outbound calling involved in order to secure sales for the business.

To be considered for the role you will hold a relevant degree in a scientific discipline, ideally Chemistry. You should have experience of working within a chemistry laboratory environment and be familiar with analytical techniques, particularly chromatography. Experience of working in a sales position will be beneficial but not necessary, however you should be outgoing and confident in order to work with customers effectively. An ambitious mindset and strong initiative will also be necessary. You should be able to work well as part of a team as well as autonomously and have the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally.
