Due to continued growth, a well-established and successful manufacturer of plastic products is currently seeking an Injection Moulding Setter to join their team.

Working within a busy mouldshop, you will be responsible for ensuring production runs are completed on time and to spec, whilst ensuring scrap is kept to a minimum.

***Up to £40,000 depending on experience, working Monday to Friday***

As an Injection Moulding Setter, your duties will include:

  • Condition setting of moulding machines.
  • Carrying out tool changes.
  • Resolving process issues and moulding defects.

To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Setter, the ideal candidate will:

  • Have experience of working in a plastic injection moulding manufacturing environment as a Tool Setter or Process Technician.
  • Be able to resolve process issues and moulding faults in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate best practice procedures for carrying out tool changes and setting machines.
  • Have a good knowledge of a variety of materials and their properties.

Based in the south Manchester area, this role is commutable from Wythenshawe, Oldham, Warrington, Bolton, and all surrounding areas.
