Infotainment Project Engineer
Jonathan Lee Recruitment has an exciting opportunity for an Infotainment Project Engineer to join our client's inclusive and collaborative team. This 12-month contract role, based in Cranfield, comes with an umbrella rate of £30.78 per hour PAYE (Inside IR35). Please note, we cannot progress candidates who require sponsorship to work in the UK.
As an Infotainment Project Engineer, you will implement infotainment (navigation and audio) systems for vehicles manufactured in Europe. You will also develop and coordinate specification and vehicle-specific requirements with global teams in Japan and North America.
Your Duties Include:
- Manage Tier 1 suppliers to deliver products to quality, cost and timing targets
- Manage in-house and supplier validation of components to company design standards
- Collaborate with customer-orientated engineering teams to ensure global products match European customer requirements.
To apply for this Infotainment Project Engineer role you will need:
- Experience in automotive navigation system developments or similar ECU (meter/cluster, body control module).
- You will also require relevant experience in automotive electrical and electronic development or equivalent experience, for example in aerospace, telecoms or similar.
- In addition, you should have experience managing Tier 1 suppliers in the development of a complex electronic product.
