Industrial Sewing Machinist

We are recruiting experienced industrial sewing machinists for our well established client based in Warminster, Wiltshire.

Candidates will be sewing a variety of different models & fabrics using techniques that include Top stitching, Overlocking, and Piping. Candidates will be working from a sewing specification in order to meet with the clients expectations.

Candidates must have -

• A minimum of 2 years industrial sewing experience with a good knowledge of various sewing techniques that include: (Top stitching, Overlocking, Piping). Experience using an industrial flatbed sewing machine with walking feet is also a bonus.
• Zips Experience in cutting fabrics
• Knowledge of different fabrics types
• Ability to follow sewing specifications
• Ability to perform basic machine maintenance i.e. changing needle and thread and cleaning the machine.
• Good hand to eye coordination & analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good sewing and fine finishing techniques
• The ability to follow good sewing practices and company methods of work

In return, our client offers full time hours, good rates of pay & permanent contracts.

Hours of Work

Monday to Thursday 08:00am - 16:45

Friday 07:00 am - 13:00pm

Rate of Pay

£12.00 per hour
