First Achieve's Engineering Division have an excellent opportunity for a contract Industrial Painter to join an established and growing company in the Edinburgh region for a 6 month contract. Our client is an international manufacturer, dedicated to defence industries world-wide.

You will be expected to work with minimal supervision, across the business premise, with a high quality of care.

What's on Offer:

  • Hourly wage between £20/hr for basic hours
  • 37 hours per week, spread over 4 days
  • Monday to Thursday work week, 7am to 5pm
  • £30/hr for first 6 hours overtime, then £40/hr thereafter
  • Can pay via Ltd or Umbrella
  • 6 month contract

Essential criteria, skills, experience and knowledge requirements:

The successful candidate must have:

  • A minimal of 4 years experience of Industrial Painting
  • Experience of grit blasting specifically
  • Prior experience working in a heavy industrial environment
  • sole ownership of British citizenship and not hold citizenship/passport in any other country
  • not spent a solid block of 6+ months outside the UK in the last 6 years
  • the ability to reliably commute to the site
