Industrial Disease Solicitor
This forward-thinking, Top 100 law firm are currently seeking a Solicitor to join their London Industrial Disease team.
The team specializes exclusively in supporting individuals affected by asbestos-related diseases such as mesothelioma, lung cancer, asbestosis, and diffuse pleural thickening, as well as their families.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting Partners and Senior Lawyers with their caseload, effectively managing cases and transactions.
- Attending client meetings, court hearings, and conferences.
- Directly liaising with clients to understand their instructions fully and ensure their expectations are met.
- Skillfully scoping and pricing work under supervision.
- Contributing to research, drafting articles, and supporting the creation of marketing materials.
- Initiating the development of a client network and attending relevant networking events.
- Consistently managing time recording, work in progress monitoring, and billing for own and others’ files and matters.
Skills, Experience, and Attributes:
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 0-2 PQE.
- Prior experience in claimant personal injury or clinical negligence, preferably in asbestos litigation.
- Ability to effectively manage time and workload.
- Strong client management skills, focusing on delivering excellent service.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for business development and marketing.
