We are excited to be representing a successful, market leading company, Batt Cables, in their search for an Indirect Buyer for their purchasing department. Based out of Erith, in south-east London, this 12 month fixed term contract role will support the senior buyers in sourcing and planning the company-wide indirect spend.

Key Responsibilities
- Good knowledge of basic Microsoft Office programmes
- Develop and Execute Indirect Procurement Strategies: Collaborate and execute effective strategies for indirect categories with Senior Buyers
- Supply Market Intelligence: Understand supplier landscape for assigned categories, enabling informed decision-making
- Supplier Management: Manage relationships, contracts, and purchase orders for optimal terms
- Tendering and Contract Management: Lead processes, ensure compliance, and monitor performance
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster relationships, aligning activities with organizational goals
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process enhancements for better procurement efficiency
Person Requirements
